Dr Jennifer Nichols

Member: APS College of Clinical Psychologists

Jenni completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tasmania in 1995 and has worked in private practice since that time. Jenni has a special interest in pain management and is a member of the Australian Pain Society, The International Association for the Study of Pain, and Pain Management Tasmania.

Jenni is also a member of the APS College of Health Psychologists, and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists Jenni’s experience in private practice has included the treatment of trauma, depression, eating disorders, anxiety and medico-legal assessments. She has also been involved in the development and facilitation of corporate programs, and does individual coaching on a regular basis. Jenni is skilled in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness skills, and Schema Therapy.
