Elizabeth (Liz) is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Masters in Psychology (Clinical) at the University of Tasmania in 2010. She has also undertaken further education in the alcohol and drug field, completing her Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies for Health Professionals in 2015. Liz is an AHPRA endorsed Clinical Psychologist as well as a board approved supervisor. Liz has worked in a variety of areas across the public and private sector, including the areas of alcohol and drug addiction, disability, and vocational rehabilitation.
Liz is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She has an interest in working with adults who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, and who may have comorbid drug and alcohol addiction, trauma backgrounds, or mild intellectual disability.
