Jacqui completed her degree at the University of Tasmania in 1998. Her Master’s degree research focussed on the treatment of phobias. Jacqui spent seven years working in Tasmania and interstate in Disability Services, managing the assessment and treatment of mental health problems and dual diagnoses. Jacqui also worked in private practice on a part-time basis as an Employment Assistance Program provider and a trauma debriefing psychologist. Jacqui joined the PsychologyWorks team in 2009.
Jacqui is skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to promote wellbeing and personal change. Since moving back to Tasmania in 2008, Jacqui has also completed assessment and suicide prevention initiatives among refugee populations in Tasmania.
