Clinical Services

The PsychologyWorks team provides a service delivery that includes both preventative programs and clinical interventions. The practice provides health, clinical and counselling psychology services including treatment of the following:

• depression
• anxiety
• bipolar disorder
• acute and chronic pain
• psychotic disorders
• stress management
• adjustment disorder
• bereavement
• addiction
• sleep problems
• post-traumatic stress disorder
• sexual abuse
• sexual dysfunction
• eating disorders
• obsessive compulsive disorder

We also provide counselling for coping with chronic illness, child and adolescent counselling, help for parents with children’s behavioural and emotional problems, relationship counselling, assertiveness training, conflict resolution, communication training and medico-legal assessments.

The PsychologyWorks team regularly attend conferences and workshops to ensure they maintain a professional and innovative approach to assessment and treatment.

We are unable to provide a 24 hour contact service. However, we provide clients deemed at risk with numbers to gain access to appropriate 24 hour services in an emergency. For afterhours assistance we refer clients to the following 24 hour counselling services:
